Code Archive Released
We've publicly released our small (but soon to grow!) code archive. Basically, the code archive is a section of the site where you can find interesting, educational, or useful programs or code snippets. You can see the code archive here or by clicking the "Code" button in the navigation menu. We also encourage you to contribute any code you have written that you think someone may find interesting/educational/useful (which effectively includes almost all code) by contacting an administrator on the forums, IRC, or elsewhere. Please post any feedback on the forums, and enjoy!
New Focus: IRC Lectures
As a result of our constant quest to provide an unique site and community in which learning is the primary goal, we've decided to shift BU's focus. From this point forward, BU's IRC lectures will become our most active and important project, as we feel that this project gives us our best opportunity to create a unique website and community built around it. Countless technology-related groups provide tutorials, forums, and IRC channels, but far fewer frequently hold informative and interactive IRC lectures. However, we need our entire community to contribute for this project to succeed. If you are interested in giving an IRC lecture, we invite you to PM Ch4r on the forums stating the topic you wish to conduct a lecture on and the times you prefer to give your lecture at. We also strongly encourage you to help spread the word about BU's lectures as well as it's community and site in general. Additionally, please note that although the lecture project and forums will be given the most attention, other projects such as the tutorials section will continue to progress and help turn BU into a well-rounded website with several projects that provide the opportuniy to BU's visitors to learn more about technology-related subjects.
Zine[0] Released
The first issue of BU's Zine has been released and can be found here. If you have any feedback regarding the zine, please see the appropriate topic in the forums. Additionally, if you are interested in contributing to the next issue of the zine, Zine[1], please see this thread for more information.
